Last summer, an article in The Atlantic defined joy as “little moments that make us feel more alive.” Often, these moments are with people we love — celebrating birthdays, catching up with old friends or visiting family members. However, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, many in-person celebrations and events have been canceled.
Despite the uncertain times, and the physical distance the virus requires — we are creating new ways to connect and find joy. In this video, I explore the ways in which we are finding joy, connecting and showing up for those we love.
