Chicago Tribune technology reporter Ally Moratti and Matt Chapman from Chi Hack Night will join 14 East and SPJ on April 27 to discuss the intersection of technology and privacy in today’s world.

14 East Magazine and DePaul’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists is thrilled to bring #PublicNewsroom to DePaul’s campus in partnership with City Bureau, a Chicago-based nonprofit journalism lab where the series originated.

The #PublicNewsroom is meant to be an open dialogue. What’s happening in our community that affects us? What should student media cover to better serve you? It’s a space for the DePaul community and student journalists to come together to discuss, grow and learn.
