Between laughter and serious heart-to-heart conversations, I was able to freely speak with Amanda Florian, a professional Italian-American blogger living in Chicago. Florian started her own new digital world behind the logo ‘Bellezza Corner.’
Inspiring, helping and simply caring about her audience has been one of Florian’s priorities. Her joyful and genuine personality make her blog extra special.

“I’ve always had many girls ask me about my wellness techniques, my fashion taste and life advice,” Florian said. “That’s why I decided to start this blog. I wanted to be able to have this information available to many people on the Internet. I also love the community it creates. It’s great, and I love every single minute of creating it.”
Amanda didn’t see her blog succeed overnight. It took time and patience to get to a point where it was self-sufficient and where she just has fun with it.

“I think that the biggest challenge I have experienced with a blog that I created myself is trying to get it out there,” Florian said. “You can be writing the best content out there but if people can’t find you then no one is going to read it. So it’s just having to do a lot of outreach and liking other things, interacting with other people, all of that has been a separate undertaking in itself.”

“I think that writing things down and having the content on my blog, so that I can see it physically, makes me think really hard about what I’m writing and making sure that it’s something I actually feel strongly about,” said Amanda as she scrolled through her blog feed.

She has created over a hundred posts in the past year and a half. Every single one of them has a specific theme and topic.
“It could be as little as suggesting a product, making sure that I actually really like and use that product because I’m advising other people to use it, or life concepts and advice things that come up in my life that I can help other people [with].”

Florian’s little happy place for the mind, body and soul is about making her dream come true. Her passion project is always growing, traveling from Italy to the U.S. You might find Florian wandering through the streets of Chicago, posing for pictures, or simply sitting at a café, sipping her cappuccino, and thinking about her next adventure.
